About each tool
S

Superhuman
Email app with AI for sorting, drafting and scheduling, part of the Superhuman suite. Mail Starter is $25 a month per member billed annually ($30 monthly).
Who it is for
The Mail plans page lists per-member Starter and Business plans for teams of up to 25 seats, and Enterprise with unlimited seats for larger groups. Since the company's rename from Grammarly to Superhuman, Mail is also part of a suite with Grammarly, Docs and Go, which the suite page includes from its Business plan.
Strengths
- The Mail plans page lists Starter as covering email productivity, Superhuman AI, team collaboration, calendar and scheduling, unified admin and billing, and group productivity coaching.
- Superhuman lists Business as adding Auto Drafts, Ask AI, the Superhuman Mail MCP, Custom Auto Labels with AI, HubSpot and Salesforce integrations, and Recent Opens.
- The Superhuman AI Overview help page says Mail and its vendors do not train on your data, that data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and that Write with AI queries are not stored.
- Enterprise is listed with single sign-on, advanced security and controls, team analytics, priority support, and a customer success manager.
- The suite pricing page lists a $0 Free plan with AI chat and writing corrections, and a Pro plan at $12 per member a month billed annually that includes Grammarly, Docs and Go.
- The Help Center says Mail also remains available as a standalone product and that existing subscriptions are not automatically moved to the suite.
Limitations
- The Mail plans page does not mention a free plan or trial, and its page description refers to 'Free, Pro, and Enterprise' plans that the page does not show.
- Vendor pages disagree on data use: the Mail AI help page says neither Mail nor any vendor trains on your data, while the company privacy policy says Superhuman uses information to train its AI models and offers a training control in account settings.
- The suite pages disagree on Free-plan writing corrections ('20+ languages' on the plans page, '6 languages' in the Help Center). The pages read did not state refund terms; the cancellation article points to hello@superhuman.com.
F

Fyxer AI
AI assistant for email and meetings with a credit-metered Free plan. Pro is $37 per person a month billed annually ($49 monthly).
Who it is for
It suits individuals who want help with email and meetings, and teams that want shared Spaces, follow-up owners and reporting. Organizations with stricter needs are pointed to the Enterprise plan for SSO, SCIM, audit logs and data residency.
Strengths
- Fyxer lists Pro as adding automatic labeling, reply drafts in your tone, video recording, meeting follow-ups, unlimited personal Spaces and Flows; Team adds unlimited shared Spaces, assigned follow-up owners, an organization profile, team reporting and admin controls.
- Fyxer's product page says it sorts email into needs a reply, FYI and marketing, works with Gmail and Outlook, and joins Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls. The pricing FAQ says it drafts replies but does not send them.
- The pricing FAQ and Fyxer's docs cite SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001 and GDPR compliance, with HIPAA eligibility on Enterprise. Enterprise is listed with SSO, SCIM, audit logs and data residency in the EU, UK or US. These are vendor statements.
- Fyxer's help center says that after cancelling, access stops immediately, Fyxer never deletes your emails, and your Fyxer data may be recoverable for 30 days if you ask.
Limitations
- Usage is metered in credits. Free has 400 a month, Pro 3,000 per paid member and Team 6,000 per paid member, pooled. Listed costs include 20 credits per chat message, 1 per recorded minute, 5 per Flow run, 30 per document attachment, 175 per deep research question and 0.2 per email sorted. On Free, metered actions pause until credits renew.
- Training on user data is on by default. Users can turn it off under Dashboard, Settings, Account, and admins can opt out a whole organization. Fyxer says data already used cannot be removed from models already built, and that learning each user's writing style continues after opting out.
- The vendor's pages disagree. The Pro card shows a 14-day trial but the FAQ says Pro has none and the trial is on Team. The annual discount is 'up to 35%' on the toggle, 25% for Pro in the FAQ, and about 24.5% from the listed Pro prices. Enterprise credits show 9,000 in one table and 'agreed in the contract' elsewhere. An older help article lists Standard $30 and Pro $50 monthly with a 7-day trial.
