Lindy AI and Gumloop side by side: what each one is, what it costs to start, and whether you can try it free. Everything below comes from the vendors' own sites and other public sources, not from hands-on testing.

Neither tool is ranked above the other here. These are research-based profiles, not hands-on tests. Starting price is the lowest listed paid plan per month (annual-billing equivalent where the vendor lists one), as shown on the vendor's own site when we last checked. Prices change, so confirm on the vendor's site. How this site works.

Key differences

Neither lists a free tier, so expect to pay to use either one.

Both are in our Autonomous Agents category.

About each tool

Lindy AI

AI teammate that connects to a team's tools and does tasks like inbox, CRM and reporting work. Credit based, with $50 of free credits for 7 days; the pricing page lists Team at $49.99 a month.

Who it is for

The vendor addresses teams across functions. Its homepage has role pages for paid ads, account management, client reporting, SEO, project management, lead generation, inbox and calendar, bookkeeping, operations, HR, customer support, recruiting and product management.

Strengths

  • The vendor lists 1,500+ integrations and says it supports any hosted MCP server
  • A free offer of $50 in credits with no credit card required
  • The vendor's FAQ lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PIPEDA compliance, and says data is not sold or used to train models
  • Enterprise adds HIPAA with a signed BAA, SSO, SCIM, audit logs, shared usage with bonus credits and dedicated support
  • Admins can set spend caps per teammate. When the shared credit pool runs low, Lindy pauses credit-using actions and notifies users instead of billing overage, according to the billing docs

Limitations

  • The free offer is $50 in credits that last 7 days, once per teammate. It is not a permanent free plan, so a paid plan is needed to keep using Lindy
  • Billing is per seat. Anyone who signs up, joins the workspace or first mentions Lindy in Slack takes a seat, and a removed seat is paid through the end of the cycle
  • Credit use varies by task. The pricing page gives ranges of 2 to 250 credits for everyday asks, 250 to 1,000 for deep work and 1,000 to 2,500 for big builds. A vendor community reply says there is no per-action credit table
  • Some features depend on the plan: computer use is listed for Pro and Max, and SSO, SCIM, audit logs and HIPAA with a BAA for Enterprise. No annual price and no agent or seat cap is stated on the pricing page

Gumloop

No-code builder for AI agents and workflows, with MCP support. Pro starts at $37 a month with a 14-day trial; no free plan is listed on its pricing page.

Who it is for

A vendor blog post says it is built for enterprise companies and lists users from solo operators to enterprise teams in marketing, sales, customer service, HR and operations.

Strengths

  • Pro lists unlimited agents, seats and teams, and 35+ models, according to the live pricing page
  • Pro lists 20,000 included credits a month, 5 concurrent workflow runs, 25 concurrent agent chats and 1 hosted MCP server
  • The vendor's blog says Gumloop hosts and proxies MCP servers and that they can be used for APIs it does not cover with a pre-built integration
  • A vendor blog post says it has hundreds of built-in integrations and is SOC 2 and GDPR compliant. We found no exact count and no audit report
  • Enterprise lists an optional virtual private cloud, SCIM and SAML sign-on, audit logs, role-based access and organization-wide connector policies

Limitations

  • Pro's 20,000 credits a month (7,400 paid plus 12,600 bonus) do not roll over, per the credits docs. Overage can be turned on at $0.005 a credit and is capped (default 1,000,000 credits), and agents stop at the cap
  • An 8% orchestration fee applies on Pro, rising to 16% on agent chats when you bring your own model key, per the credits docs. Enterprise lists discounts on it
  • Concurrency and hosted MCP servers are capped on Pro (5 workflow runs, 25 agent chats, 1 MCP server). Enterprise values are custom
