About each tool
M

Manatal
Applicant tracking system and recruitment CRM with AI enrichment, scoring and an AI Copilot. From $15 per user a month billed annually ($19 monthly).
Who it is for
Recruiting teams and agencies that want to manage jobs, candidates and a career page in one tool with per-user pricing. Manatal says you can add as many users as you want, each with their own permissions.
Strengths
- Manatal's help center lists ten AI features, including AI Copilot, AI Recommendations (scores and ranks candidates against job criteria), AI Parsing of resumes, AI Advanced Search and AI job description generation.
- The pricing page's comparison table lists AI Candidate Enrichment, AI Recommendations, AI Copilot and AI semantic search in all three paid plans; the help center says enrichment gathers data from 20+ public platforms.
- Manatal says Enterprise and Enterprise Plus have unlimited jobs and candidates, and lists unlimited hiring managers on the plans.
- Manatal's help center states that it does not use your data to train its AI models.
- The privacy page says the platform is hosted on AWS in the US, encrypts candidate databases, backs up daily and shows GDPR, CCPA and SOC 2 badges.
- Manatal offers a 14-day free trial with no card required; adding a card during the trial does not forfeit the remaining days.
Limitations
- There is no permanent free plan. Professional is capped at 15 jobs per account and 10,000 candidates.
- Workflow automations start at Enterprise. The MCP server, Open API, SSO, user groups, custom permissions and priority support are listed under Enterprise Plus.
- Prices are per user. The AI Interviewer is a separate add-on available on request, with credits deducted per completed interview (each retake uses one more credit); its price is chosen when enabling it and is not published on the pages read.
- Trial accounts cannot use job board posting, Manatal-domain email, mass emailing, email automations, AI-generated job descriptions or the GDPR consent request tool. Full access starts after the first payment and account verification, which the pricing page says typically takes up to three working days.
L

Loxo
Recruiting ATS and CRM with AI search; AI agents on higher tiers. Core is $149 per user a month billed annually.
Strengths
- Loxo lists unlimited jobs, candidates and companies on Core, along with pipelines, reporting, email and calendar sync, the Chrome extension, AI search and MCP access.
- Loxo says Professional adds Loxo Source (a talent graph of 850M+ people), the agentic workforce, Full Agentic Mode, Data Agents, the Agent Impact Center, Loxo AI Chat and API access.
- Loxo lists agents for sourcing (longlist and shortlist), contact info finding, job descriptions, candidate submittals, an AI notetaker and a self-updating CRM that flags possible duplicate profiles.
- Loxo says AI Chat can use Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok per conversation, runs with the signed-in user's permissions, and uses each provider's zero-retention, no-training enterprise tier.
- Candidates can be added by Chrome extension, resume forwarding, CSV import, bulk upload or drag-and-drop PDF, per Loxo's CRM page. Migration is free for teams of 3 or more seats on Core.
- Loxo lists SSO/SAML, advanced governance, advanced roles and permissions, a dedicated success team and priority support on Enterprise.
Limitations
- Core is $149 per user a month, billed annually and paid up front. The page labels it a new customer limited-time offer and gives no terms for the offer. Professional has no public price: the page says to book a demo, billed annually. Enterprise is a custom annual agreement, and its seats and credits are not stated.
- Professional lists 2,500 credits per seat a month, pooled across the team. Loxo's help page says included credits are set by contract and any remaining monthly balance does not roll over, while the pricing page says credits refresh in full each cycle.
- Boost add-ons are listed at 5,000 credits per user a month (2x) and 12,500 (5x), with prices not shown. The pricing page calls capacity figures such as the 10,000-candidate search 'figurative'.
- Loxo's homepage says its AI is proprietary and not a third-party wrapper, while its AI Chat page and Outreach GPT description name outside models. The pricing page has no refund or cancellation terms.
