What is Loxo?
Loxo is a recruiting platform that combines an applicant tracking system (ATS), a recruiting CRM and natural-language AI search, plus AI agents for tasks such as longlists, shortlists, contact lookup, candidate submittals and interview notes. It runs as a web platform with a Chrome extension for adding candidates, and an MCP connection to outside AI tools.
Who it's for
Loxo's site lists direct hire, executive search, staffing agency, corporate in-house and RPO recruiting teams as users. The agent features, the Loxo Source database and AI Chat are on the Professional tier and above, so teams that only want an ATS and CRM would look at Core.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- Loxo lists unlimited jobs, candidates and companies on Core, along with pipelines, reporting, email and calendar sync, the Chrome extension, AI search and MCP access.
- Loxo says Professional adds Loxo Source (a talent graph of 850M+ people), the agentic workforce, Full Agentic Mode, Data Agents, the Agent Impact Center, Loxo AI Chat and API access.
- Loxo lists agents for sourcing (longlist and shortlist), contact info finding, job descriptions, candidate submittals, an AI notetaker and a self-updating CRM that flags possible duplicate profiles.
- Loxo says AI Chat can use Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok per conversation, runs with the signed-in user's permissions, and uses each provider's zero-retention, no-training enterprise tier.
- Candidates can be added by Chrome extension, resume forwarding, CSV import, bulk upload or drag-and-drop PDF, per Loxo's CRM page. Migration is free for teams of 3 or more seats on Core.
- Loxo lists SSO/SAML, advanced governance, advanced roles and permissions, a dedicated success team and priority support on Enterprise.
Limitations
- Core is $149 per user a month, billed annually and paid up front. The page labels it a new customer limited-time offer and gives no terms for the offer. Professional has no public price: the page says to book a demo, billed annually. Enterprise is a custom annual agreement, and its seats and credits are not stated.
- Professional lists 2,500 credits per seat a month, pooled across the team. Loxo's help page says included credits are set by contract and any remaining monthly balance does not roll over, while the pricing page says credits refresh in full each cycle.
- Credits are used for fetching contact information and other AI features. Loxo's help page says flagging data as inaccurate does not return credits, and extra credit bundles are billed per user each month by credit or debit card only.
- Boost add-ons are listed at 5,000 credits per user a month (2x) and 12,500 (5x), with prices not shown. The pricing page calls capacity figures such as the 10,000-candidate search 'figurative'.
- Loxo's homepage says its AI is proprietary and not a third-party wrapper, while its AI Chat page and Outreach GPT description name outside models. The pricing page has no refund or cancellation terms.

- Free trial: $0. 7-day trial with full Professional access, no credit card. The only free option found; the site header says 'Start free' without more detail.
