What is Devin?
Devin is Cognition's AI software engineer, sold as Devin Cloud, Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf), Devin CLI and Devin Review. The pricing page describes using it to plan, code, test and ship.
Who it's for
Individual developers on the Free, Pro and Max plans, and engineering teams on Teams or Enterprise. Enterprise adds SSO, admin controls and deployment inside your own VPC.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- A free plan with limited Devin usage, plus Devin Review and DeepWiki
- Pro includes Slack, Linear and MCP integrations
- Teams adds centralized billing and an admin dashboard with analytics
- Enterprise lists SAML/OIDC SSO, VPC deployment and teamspace isolation
- A Devin API is listed; on Teams and Enterprise only sessions started programmatically are billed, with no extra API fee
Limitations
- Free, Pro and Max are single-member plans and cannot be shared between users
- Included usage is a quota with no published amounts; use past the quota is pay-as-you-go on prepaid on-demand credits
- Teams has an $80 per month minimum, and a full seat is $40 per month in the billing docs
- Enterprise is billed in ACUs at the rate in each customer's order form; no per-ACU price is published
- If credits run out, scheduled Automations stop

- Free: $0. Limited Devin usage, Devin Review and DeepWiki, 1 member.
- Pro: $20/month. Usage quotas for Devin and the Windsurf IDE (amounts not listed), 1 member.
- Max: $200/month. Everything in Pro with larger quotas, 1 member.
- Teams: $80/month minimum. Full seats at $40/month each; flex seats draw only on shared credits.
- Enterprise: Custom. Billed in ACUs per order form; adds SSO, admin controls and VPC deployment.
The pricing page does not say whether the $20 is billed annually or monthly. Windsurf became Devin Desktop on 2 June 2026, per the vendor's FAQ.
