What is Neon One?

Neon One is a software suite for nonprofits, centered on Neon CRM for donor management, fundraising, email and text communications and grant management, with optional membership, event and volunteer modules. It runs as web software in the browser, with related products for peer-to-peer fundraising (Neon Fundraise), payment processing (Neon Pay) and websites (Neon Websites).

Who it's for

The vendor aims Neon CRM at small and midsize nonprofits in the US and Canada, including membership organizations, local chapters and professional associations; it lists a separate product, Arts People, for arts organizations. Neon Launch is described as a website and fundraising package for new and early-stage nonprofits.

Pros & cons

Strengths

  • The vendor says every Neon CRM tier includes unlimited records, users, donation forms, workflows, emails and reports, and that pricing is based on organization revenue rather than record count.
  • The vendor says Neon CRM lists 50+ pre-built reports and a custom report builder, plus peer-to-peer fundraising, recurring gifts and DAF payments, a donor portal, and email and text messaging.
  • The vendor lists built-in integrations with QuickBooks, Windfall, Mailchimp and Eventbrite at no extra cost, plus Zapier, Constant Contact, TaxJar, Double the Donation and Chariot DAFpay, and an open API.
  • The vendor says live chat, email and phone support is free for customers, with 24/7 virtual agents, and that a free PCI Compliance Program with $100,000 in data breach coverage is included.
  • Neon One's AI page says customer data will never be used to train an LLM or other generative tool, that its assistant Gen uses only data from your own instance and only when you ask, and that an account setting lets you block data flowing into AI services.
  • Neon Pay is described as built into the CRM so transactions post to donor records, with cards, ACH, digital wallets (Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and an in-person handheld terminal.

Limitations

  • The vendor publishes only the starting price for Neon CRM ($99 a month). Prices for higher revenue bands, setup fees and contract terms are in a gated pricing guide or given in a demo; the pages read do not state contract length or cancellation terms.
  • Memberships, Volunteers and Events are add-on modules priced as a percentage of the CRM subscription fee (+10%, +10% and +20%). The pricing guide form lists five annual revenue bands ($0-$15K up to $10M+) while the pricing pages mention three tiers, and the mapping is not shown.
  • Neon Pay rates are not published: the page says rates vary by product and are confirmed during setup, may include a flat monthly merchant account fee, and that using an external processor starts at $50 a month. Neon Pay is open only to organizations already using a Neon One product.
  • Neon Websites is listed at $69 a month for customers of other Neon One products and $89 a month on its own, with one-time build fees of $750 (Standard) or $1,250 (Premium). Neon Fundraise plans and fees are not published on its product page.
  • The vendor's pages conflict on Neon Launch: its product page lists $49 a month plus transaction fees, while a third-party price tracker (Reported) says the $49 Launch plan was removed from the pricing page on Oct 19, 2026. The pages read do not mention a nonprofit discount.

Plans and pricing

  • Neon CRM: From $99 a month. Revenue-based tiers; unlimited records, users, emails, reports and campaigns; includes donor management, fundraising, communications and grant management. Higher-tier prices are not published; billing basis (annual or monthly) is not stated.
  • CRM add-on modules: +10% / +10% / +20% of the CRM fee. Memberships +10%, Volunteers +10%, Events +20%. Priced as a percentage of the CRM subscription.
  • Neon Websites: $69 a month with another Neon One product, $89 a month alone. DIY has no setup fee; Standard Build adds a $750 one-time fee (six pages, about 2-4 weeks); Premium Build adds $1,250 (six pages, about 4-6 weeks).
  • Neon Launch: $49 a month plus transaction fees. Website and donation form package for new nonprofits (first three pages built, donation form, thank-you emails, setup support). Availability is in question; see plans note.
  • Neon Fundraise: $158 a month (Reported). Peer-to-peer and endurance-event fundraising; works with Neon CRM. The vendor page lists no prices; the figure is from a third-party tracker.
  • Neon Pay: Rates confirmed at setup. Payment processing for existing Neon One customers; per-card-type transaction rates and a flat monthly merchant account fee may apply; rates not published.

The $99 starting price, add-on percentages, Neon Websites prices and Neon Launch price were read from Neon One's own pages; revenue-tier prices are gated and were not readable. The $158 Neon Fundraise figure comes from a third-party tracker (Reported), which also says the Launch plan was removed from the pricing page on Oct 19, 2026 although the vendor's Launch page still shows it. All prices are in US dollars. The pages read do not list a nonprofit discount. Confirm on the live pricing page or with sales.

Details checked October 2026 against the vendor's own pages. Prices and limits change, so confirm before you buy. Official pricing page ↗
