Strengths
- The pricing page lists a free Basic plan with 3 fonts and 30 color themes, and the homepage says no credit card is required.
- The pricing page says Premium is 'Pay once. No recurring billing.' with no automatic subscription, and that you can ask for a refund in the first 14 days. The terms page also gives consumers 14 days from purchase to cancel and claim a refund.
- Novorésumé lists 10 free AI tools, including an ATS Resume Checker, Resume Generator, Resume Job Matcher, Resume Rewriter, Cover Letter Generator, AI Bio Generator and AI Salary Calculator. The first use needs no sign-up.
- The privacy policy says the AI providers (named as Anthropic and OpenAI) do not use your data to train their models, that CV and cover letter inputs are cached for up to two hours, and that providers delete inputs and outputs within 30 days.
- Premium lists a maximum 10-page resume or CV, multiple versions, custom layouts, a matching cover letter, 12 fonts and 74 color themes.
- The homepage says users can import an existing resume, and the pricing page says information stays saved in your account after Premium expires.
Limitations
- Free Basic is limited to a single version, a maximum of one page, predefined layouts and no cover letter. Documents that use Premium features cannot be downloaded on Basic, although most Premium features can be tried.
- The AI tools page says free use is 2 uses per month per tool and Premium is 10 uses per month, while its FAQ says an account gives unlimited access. The pricing page does not mention AI tools or AI limits.
- The vendor's pages disagree on plan structure: the pricing page describes Premium as a one-time payment with no subscription, while the homepage FAQ describes a Pro plan with a recurring subscription (cancel anytime) and a one-month Pro Pass, and says the free plan has 8 templates. Prices for Pro were not stated on the homepage.
- The pricing page lists 'No Watermark/Branding' as a Premium feature, but the homepage does not state watermark rules for the free plan. The previous profile cited a blog post that said free downloads have no watermark; that post could not be re-read this session.
- The privacy policy says AI providers are located in the United States and that some data may be transferred or stored temporarily outside the EU. The terms say you must not sell or trade the layout or documents generated by Novorésumé to a third party.
