What is Prezi?

Prezi is a presentation tool built around an open, zoomable canvas, with AI that generates a presentation from a text prompt or an uploaded PPT or PDF file. It runs on the web at prezi.com, with a Prezi Desktop app for offline work and presenting.

Who it's for

Prezi's materials describe individual presenters on Standard, Plus and Premium, teams on a Teams plan with a brand kit, live audience engagement and viewer analytics, and students or educators on EDU Plus, which requires a school email. A Prezi blog says Enterprise is not self-serve and is offered to teams with volume pricing on request.

Pros & cons

Strengths

  • Prezi's product page says it generates a presentation from a text prompt or an uploaded PPT or PDF file, with a choice of audience type (Business, University, School or Other), and that AI output stays editable.
  • Prezi's product page lists integrations with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar and Google Meet, plus PPT import and export.
  • Prezi's integrations blog (August 2026) says Prezi AI can pull in content from Canva, Confluence, Figma, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Slack.
  • Prezi's 2026 features blog lists viewer analytics, narrated video, live polls, word clouds, quiz generation from a deck, version history and a Craft MCP server for use with Claude Desktop; it does not say which plans include each.
  • A Prezi blog (August 2026) says the AI generation cap is removed from Plus and above, and that Teams includes unlimited generation, a brand kit, live audience engagement and viewer analytics.
  • Prezi's refunds page says individual plans (Standard, Plus, Premium, Edu Plus, Edu Pro) are eligible for a one-time refund within 14 days of purchase.

Limitations

  • Prezi's own pages disagree on the free plan: its pricing-comparison blog (August 2026) says Basic has no AI credits, watermarked exports and public-only sharing, while another Prezi blog (updated August 2026) says Free has 5 projects and 500 AI credits, and the product page says the free plan includes AI capabilities.
  • Prezi's terms say content on free Public accounts is visible to anyone with internet access and can appear in search engines, while content on paid accounts is private by default.
  • Prezi's terms say Prezi may use Public User Content to train its AI models and may share reusable public content with third-party AI partners; private content is covered by a separate license for providing the services and for research and development.
  • Prezi's terms say subscription payments are non-refundable, with no prorated refund for an annual plan that is not renewed, which conflicts with the refunds page offering a 14-day refund on individual plans; Team plans get no refund once charged after the trial.
  • The Standard plan has a capped Prezi AI allowance whose size one blog gives as 500 credits a month and another does not state; Teams is priced per user, for example $2,340 a year for 5 seats per Prezi's own example.

Plans and pricing

  • Basic (free): $0. Public-only sharing. Prezi's pages conflict on AI: none and watermarked exports in one blog, 5 projects and 500 AI credits in another.
  • Standard: $7 per user a month, billed annually. Prezi AI generation with a cap (size not consistently stated); a Prezi blog gives $84 a year for one user.
  • Plus: $19 a month. AI cap removed per a Prezi blog; billing basis and per-user status not stated.
  • Premium: $29 a month. Listed in a Prezi blog table as monthly; features and billing options not stated.
  • Teams: $39 per user a month, billed annually. Unlimited generation, chat-based refinement, narrated video, brand kit, live audience engagement, viewer analytics, PDF and PPTX export.
  • EDU Plus: From $4 a month. Education plan; requires a valid school email; billing basis not stated.
  • Enterprise: Custom. Not self-serve; volume pricing on request.

Prezi's official pricing page and help-center AI credits article could not be fetched, so prices are Reported from Prezi blog posts dated July to August 2026 and the product page lists no amounts. The blogs conflict on free-plan limits and Standard credits, and Plus and Premium billing bases are not stated. Confirm on the live pricing page.
