What is Stampli?
An accounts payable and procure-to-pay platform that handles invoice capture, coding, approvals, matching and vendor payments, with an embedded AI assistant called Billy. It runs as a web application with iOS and Android apps and connects to ERP systems that stay the system of record.
Who it's for
Finance and AP teams that want to process invoices and payments on top of an existing ERP; the vendor lists support for centralized and decentralized AP teams and customer examples such as a two-person AP team handling 71 locations. The pricing page is quote-based and does not describe a self-serve plan for individuals.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- The vendor lists ERP connections for Acumatica, Dealertrack DMS, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics GP, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle NetSuite, Sage 100, Sage Intacct (including Construction), QuickBooks Desktop and Online, SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- The AP product page says invoices can arrive by email, upload or vendor portal, with line-level two-way and three-way PO matching, duplicate flagging and routing by entity, amount, department, vendor or custom rules.
- The vendor says questions, documents, comments and status updates stay attached to each invoice, and that approvals can be done from the mobile apps.
- The payments page lists ACH, paper check, virtual card and international payments, with payment approval rules that can be configured separately from invoice approval.
- The pricing page says AP plans include 12 pre-built reports, interactive dashboards, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, and unlimited entities/locations and vendors; it also says the credit card is free for Stampli customers.
- The security page lists SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3 reports, PCI DSS compliance, AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit; the AI page says suggested entries stay subject to human review and approval before posting to the ERP.
Limitations
- The pricing page publishes no prices and uses a Request a Quote button; the number of users included is not stated and no free plan or free trial is mentioned.
- Procurement, Direct Pay, Credit Card and Advanced Vendor Management are shown under a separate Beyond Accounts Payable group, and the pricing page does not say how they are priced.
- The Terms of Service say service fees are not refundable, the subscription auto-renews for periods equal to the initial term unless notice is given at least 30 days before the term ends, and Direct Pay payments and fees are nonrefundable.
- The Terms of Service mention a foreign exchange markup as an indirect cost, per-payment charges beyond the fixed bundle on Direct Pay subscriptions, and interest on overdue amounts of up to 1.5% per month.
- The security page says data is hosted on AWS in Ireland (eu-west-1). The Terms of Service let Stampli aggregate and anonymize platform data, and the AI page says Billy learns from workflows, corrections and approvals; the pages read do not clearly say whether customer content is used to train AI models.

- Stampli for Accounts Payable: Custom quote. AP automation, PO matching, insights, onboarding, team training and support; unlimited entities/locations and vendors. User count not stated.
- Beyond Accounts Payable: Custom quote. Procurement, Direct Pay payments, Credit Card (listed as free for Stampli customers) and Advanced Vendor Management; pricing not published.
- Direct Pay subscription: Not published. The Terms of Service describe a fixed bundle with per-payment charges beyond the bundle; amounts are not shown on the pages read.
Prices were not published: the official pricing page lists feature groups and a Request a Quote button, and the Terms of Service describe fee structures without amounts. Billing basis and currency are set in the Order Form per the Terms. Confirm on the live pricing page and with Stampli.
