What is Taplio?
Taplio is a LinkedIn-only tool, operated by lempire, for scheduling posts to personal profiles and company pages, tracking analytics, and drafting posts and comments with AI on higher plans. It runs as a web app, with a Chrome extension (Taplio X) for saving posts and an MCP server for connecting to Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT.
Who it's for
Taplio's own pages position it for people building a personal brand on LinkedIn, with Team/Agency options for managing several accounts. Taplio says it is not suited to teams that need several social networks or to people who do not want AI-assisted writing.

Strengths
- Taplio lists scheduling (queue, calendar, posting-time suggestions, company pages), core analytics and a LinkedIn Benchmark on every plan; the Benchmark is described as covering 60,000+ posts a month.
- Taplio says Growth adds AI post writing (drafts, hook variations, carousels), reply and comment tools, and team collaboration; Pro adds unlimited AI posts and comments, lead outreach automation and priority support.
- Taplio's Chrome extension saves LinkedIn posts you view to an inspiration library, and the vendor describes a database of 5M+ posts (Reported, from Taplio's blog).
- Taplio lists an MCP server (mcp.taplio.com) that exposes inspiration search, draft creation, scheduling and an analytics overview to Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT, plus a Zapier integration and an API in its comparison table.
- Taplio offers free tools (such as a post generator and carousel maker) and a 7-day trial with full Pro access on any plan.
- Taplio's pricing page advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, and its FAQ says refunds can be requested within 30 days of payment; cancellation is self-serve under Settings > Billing.
Limitations
- There is no permanent free plan; only the 7-day trial and the free tools are listed. Terms say you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel, and Taplio may refuse orders for abuse such as repeatedly starting trials.
- Taplio's pages disagree on AI access and limits: its blog says Starter has no AI writing, while the pricing page's comparison table shows 250 AI credits and 500 comment credits in what appears to be the Starter column, and Growth's values cannot be read. Pro is listed as unlimited.
- The pricing page cards show $39, $69 and $199 billed monthly, while the comparison table shows $32, $49 and $149 with no billing label; Taplio's blog labels those as annual rates (25% off).
- Automation features such as auto-reply, auto-DM and connection requests are listed on higher plans with conservative default limits, but the terms (last updated April 8, 2024) make you solely responsible for any LinkedIn action against your account and prohibit automation that is unauthorized or against platform policies, with automated messaging, liking and commenting as examples.
- The privacy policy (updated April 7, 2026) says data is processed in the United States, names no specific retention periods or subprocessors, and does not mention AI model training; the terms give lempire a license to use and display content you post, and do not say whether content is used for training. Team/Agency has no listed price or seat count.

- Free trial: $0 for 7 days. Full Pro access on any plan; billed at the chosen plan's price afterward unless canceled. Not a permanent free plan.
- Starter: $32 a month billed annually, or $39 monthly. Scheduling, core analytics, LinkedIn Benchmark; no AI writing per Taplio's blog (the pricing table shows credit values in this column).
- Growth: $49 a month billed annually, or $69 monthly. Adds AI post writing, reply and comment tools, and team collaboration; AI allowance has no stated number.
- Pro: $149 a month billed annually, or $199 monthly. Unlimited AI posts and comments, lead outreach automation, 90-day auto-reply monitoring, priority support.
- Team/Agency: Not priced. Listed as save up to 30% with a multi-seat discount; multiple accounts, shared analytics and admin, content writer and client roles. No seat count or price.
Monthly prices were read from the official pricing page, which labels them 'billed monthly'. The lower figures ($32, $49, $149) are unlabeled on that page and are labeled annual only on Taplio's blog (Reported), with the blog giving $384 and $588 a year for Starter and Growth.
