About each tool
J

JazzHR
Applicant tracking and recruiting software for hiring teams. Hero is $1,000 a year billed annually (about $83 a month); monthly prices are not listed.
Who it is for
The pricing page positions Hero for getting started, Plus for growing teams, and Pro for serious hiring. It also says standard pricing does not apply to staffing or recruiting agencies, HR service providers, franchises, multi-location businesses, or organizations over 250 employees.
Strengths
- The pricing page lists applicant tracking, email message templates, LinkedIn Recruiter integration and premium job listings on the entry Hero plan.
- Plus is listed as adding AI-powered candidate matching, structured interviews and assessments, configurable task automation and standard reporting, with up to 200 active jobs.
- Pro is listed as adding offers and eSignatures, advanced visual reporting, a custom reports builder, workflow reports and all-access support.
- The pricing page says JazzHR integrates with over a dozen free job boards, plus premium listings and syndication to hundreds more, and lists payroll, background check, onboarding and HRIS integrations on a separate page.
- The free trial page says the trial includes unlimited users with no per-seat fees and no credit card required.
Limitations
- Hero starts at 3 job postings a month and Plus allows up to 200 active jobs; the Pro limit is not stated. A 2025 Employ fact sheet describes Hero as 3 active jobs, which differs from the pricing page wording. Job posting and syndication are at JazzHR's discretion and can be limited by job board rules.
- Some services are billed by usage. The terms say texting, email, job board postings and eSignatures have usage limits with extra fees beyond them, and exceeding a consumption limit in an order form upgrades you to the next tier with prorated fees. Rates are not listed.
- The pricing comparison table labels Advanced Visual Reporting and Offers & eSignatures as add-ons, while the Pro plan card includes them. The 2025 fact sheet says Plus and Pro add custom reports and eSignature tools. The pages do not reconcile this.
- The terms (effective May 22, 2023, updated November 27, 2024) say subscriptions auto-renew for the same term unless written notice is given 30 days before it ends, renewal fees may increase, and fees are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable.
- The free trial length conflicts across pages: the free trial page says 14 days, the current terms say 21 days, and the 2022 terms said up to 45 days. No ongoing free plan is listed, and the pricing page shows no monthly prices.
B

Breezy HR
Applicant tracking system with job board distribution, pipelines and interviews. Free plan covers one active position; Startup is $157 a month billed annually.
Strengths
- Breezy lists a free Bootstrap plan with unlimited users, a branded career site, resume parsing, GDPR tools and distribution to 50+ job boards.
- Breezy lists unlimited positions from the Startup tier, along with candidate automations, calendar integration, analytics, a Slack integration, mobile apps, MFA and video interviews.
- Growth adds, per Breezy's pricing page, interview guides, scorecards, employee referrals, e-signatures, automated reference checking and multiple pipelines. Business adds nurture campaigns, custom roles, HRIS integrations, offer management and approvals.
- Breezy Intelligence credits power listed AI tools: Applicant Insights, Resume Audit, Activity Summary, Candidate Sourcing and Help Me Write. Admins can download a usage report showing credits used per feature, position and team member.
- Breezy lists a 14-day full-feature trial with no credit card required, including 100,000 Breezy Intelligence credits that the page says never expire.
- Breezy provides a default Recruiting Privacy Notice template that admins can edit once GDPR functionality is turned on.
Limitations
- A help article estimates costs per AI operation, such as about 500 credits to review one candidate and about 50,000 to source candidates for a position, and says unused credits are not refunded if the plan is canceled. AI Candidate Sourcing needs at least 500 candidate records.
- The pricing page does not label annual versus monthly columns, and no official terms, refund or data-training page was read, so cancellation and AI training terms are unconfirmed.
