What is JazzHR?
JazzHR is applicant tracking and recruiting software, part of Employ, Inc. It lets you post jobs to job boards, collect applicants in one pipeline, and move candidates through hiring stages, and it runs as a web application with a mobile-optimized screening interface.
Who it's for
The pricing page positions Hero for getting started, Plus for growing teams, and Pro for serious hiring. It also says standard pricing does not apply to staffing or recruiting agencies, HR service providers, franchises, multi-location businesses, or organizations over 250 employees.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- The pricing page lists applicant tracking, email message templates, LinkedIn Recruiter integration and premium job listings on the entry Hero plan.
- Plus is listed as adding AI-powered candidate matching, structured interviews and assessments, configurable task automation and standard reporting, with up to 200 active jobs.
- Pro is listed as adding offers and eSignatures, advanced visual reporting, a custom reports builder, workflow reports and all-access support.
- The pricing page says JazzHR integrates with over a dozen free job boards, plus premium listings and syndication to hundreds more, and lists payroll, background check, onboarding and HRIS integrations on a separate page.
- The free trial page says the trial includes unlimited users with no per-seat fees and no credit card required.
- The terms say the customer retains all rights in its Customer Data, and the data processing addendum says JazzHR may use it only as needed to provide and support the service.
Limitations
- Hero starts at 3 job postings a month and Plus allows up to 200 active jobs; the Pro limit is not stated. A 2025 Employ fact sheet describes Hero as 3 active jobs, which differs from the pricing page wording. Job posting and syndication are at JazzHR's discretion and can be limited by job board rules.
- Some services are billed by usage. The terms say texting, email, job board postings and eSignatures have usage limits with extra fees beyond them, and exceeding a consumption limit in an order form upgrades you to the next tier with prorated fees. Rates are not listed.
- The pricing comparison table labels Advanced Visual Reporting and Offers & eSignatures as add-ons, while the Pro plan card includes them. The 2025 fact sheet says Plus and Pro add custom reports and eSignature tools. The pages do not reconcile this.
- The terms (effective May 22, 2023, updated November 27, 2024) say subscriptions auto-renew for the same term unless written notice is given 30 days before it ends, renewal fees may increase, and fees are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable.
- The free trial length conflicts across pages: the free trial page says 14 days, the current terms say 21 days, and the 2022 terms said up to 45 days. No ongoing free plan is listed, and the pricing page shows no monthly prices.
Plans and pricing
- Hero: $1,000 a year billed annually. Job postings starting at 3 a month, subject to eligibility. Applicant tracking, email templates, LinkedIn Recruiter integration, premium job listings.
- Plus: $3,480 a year billed annually. Everything in Hero. Up to 200 active jobs, AI candidate matching, structured interviews and assessments, task automation, standard reporting.
- Pro: $5,508 a year billed annually. Everything in Plus. Offers and eSignatures, advanced visual reporting, custom reports builder, workflow reports, all-access support. Job limit not stated.
Prices were read from the official pricing page and a second JazzHR pricing page (buy.jazzhr.com), which agree. The page has a yearly/monthly toggle and says paying yearly saves up to 24%, but no monthly prices appear in the text, so all prices here are per year with annual billing in USD. A 2025 Employ fact sheet also mentions a Hiring Essentials tier that the pricing page does not list. Confirm on the live pricing page.
