What is Localazy?

Localazy is a cloud platform for managing translations of apps, software and web content, with machine translation suggestions, a review process, translation memory, a glossary and developer tools (CLI, Translation API, Android and iOS/macOS SDKs). It runs as a web app, and its mobile SDKs and CDN support over-the-air updates for translations in apps.

Who it's for

It suits software and product teams that keep text strings in code, design files or connected tools and want many languages managed in one project. Localazy says every plan, including Free, has unlimited project users, projects, languages and words, and sizes plans by the number of managed source keys.

Pros & cons

Strengths

  • Localazy lists unlimited project users, projects, languages and words on every plan, and says translating into additional languages does not use extra source keys.
  • The Free plan covers up to 200 source keys (shared across all projects on the account) and, per Localazy docs, includes the CLI, the Android and Swift SDKs, a glossary, translation memory and community translations (ShareTM).
  • Localazy lists CLI, Translation API, Android SDK, iOS and macOS SDK, Releases, custom plurals and format conversions, plus Localazy CDN and over-the-air (OTA) updates for mobile apps, on Professional.
  • Autopilot adds webhooks, automations, automated machine translation, DeepL as a provider and integrations that Localazy lists as Figma, Strapi, Storyblok, Intercom, Zendesk, Zapier, Directus and Webflow.
  • Localazy says machine translation suggestions inside the editor are free, and that Localazy AI uses your glossary, style guide, key names, notes and previous translations as context.
  • Localazy says you can cancel anytime with no extra fees, upgrades take effect immediately with proportional billing, and every new account gets a 14-day trial of the Business plan.

Limitations

  • Plans are sized by managed source keys (Free 200, Professional from 1,000, Autopilot from 3,500, Business from 10,000). On Free, the pricing FAQ says that after you reach the limit you keep access but cannot publish changes until you upgrade.
  • Machine translation and AI used in bulk or automated workflows consumes credits (1 credit = $1). The pricing page does not state how many credits each plan includes. Tier pages show 'up to $11' (Professional) and 'up to $25' (Autopilot), and a July 2025 Localazy post listed $5, $15 and $32 for Professional, Autopilot and Business (Reported, older). Extra credits start at $10 and do not expire; human translation, CDN and OTA are billed by usage.
  • Localazy docs say suggestions are free but subject to a fair use limit of 2 million characters per month. The docs give no fair use figure for batch or automated translation.
  • Features depend on tier: webhooks, automations and DeepL are on Autopilot and above; project branching and SSO-related features are described on Business (Localazy's 2023 post), and SSO, audit logs, SLA and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) are listed for Enterprise. Localazy says it does not offer refunds.
  • Localazy's own pages disagree in places: the Professional and Autopilot tier pages show 1,000 and 3,500 source keys in the header but 200 in the organization-limits table; the pricing FAQ still uses $89 and $199 examples; and the machine translation docs list Google on Free while the Free plan docs list Amazon Translate. I did not find a data-use or AI-training statement on the pages I read.

Plans and pricing

  • Free: $0. Up to 200 source keys across all projects; unlimited users, projects, languages and words; CLI and SDKs; machine translation suggestions subject to fair use.
  • Professional (1,000 keys): $34 a month billed annually, or $41 monthly (Reported). Adds machine translation batch pre-translate, screenshots, custom plurals, style guide, CDN and OTA. Tier page shows $61 a month for a higher key tier (2,500 keys in Localazy's 2023 post).
  • Autopilot (3,500 keys): $78 a month billed annually, or $94 monthly (Reported). Adds webhooks, automations, automated machine translation, DeepL, Figma screenshots and listed integrations. Tier page shows $139 a month for a higher key tier (7,500 keys in the 2023 post).
  • Business (10,000 keys): $175 a month billed annually, or $210 monthly (Reported). Adds project branching, duplicate management and reporting; key tiers listed up to 100,000 keys in the 2023 post. Recommended tag on the pricing page.
  • Enterprise: Custom. Tailored pricing; Localazy lists SSO, SLA and priority support, a dedicated localization manager, backup and restore, audit logs and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).

The live pricing page shows plan names and key limits but no dollar amounts for paid plans in the text I could read; the $34/$41, $78/$94 and $175/$210 figures come from the third-party tracker PricingSaaS (captured June 2026), because Localazy's January 2026 pricing post could not be opened this session. The $61 and $139 figures come from Localazy's Professional and Autopilot tier pages. Prices are in USD; VAT treatment was not confirmed. Confirm on the live pricing page.

Details checked October 2026 against the vendor's own pages. Prices and limits change, so confirm before you buy. Official pricing page ↗
