About each tool
M

Motion
AI work platform combining tasks, projects, calendar and docs with auto-scheduling. Pro AI is $19 per seat a month on the monthly toggle; annual saves 33%.
Who it is for
Motion's help center describes it for individuals who want tasks, events and notes in one place, for teams that share tasks, stages and docs, and for companies that want standardized project workflow templates. The pricing page labels Pro AI for professionals and small teams and Business AI for businesses with complex needs.
Strengths
- Motion's help center lists Projects & Tasks, Calendar, Docs, AI Chat, AI Notetaker, AI Docs and AI Workflows (AI-generated project templates, which the page says are not automations).
- The calendar page lists integrations with Zapier, Zoom, Google Meet, Gmail, Outlook, Siri, HubSpot, Salesforce, Teams and Slack, and a public API to create, update and manage projects and tasks.
- The pricing page lists Unlimited Storage, integrations and iOS, Android and Desktop apps on Pro AI, and 7,500 credits per seat a month.
- Business AI adds Team Capacity Planning, Advanced Dashboards & Reports, Timeline & Gantt Charts, Time Tracking, Permissions & Access Control, Central Billing and Priority Support, and 15,000 credits per seat a month.
- Motion's security page says it completed a SOC 2 Type II audit by Prescient Assurance, encrypts databases at rest and data in transit, and uses its own algorithms for auto-scheduling while some features use LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.
Limitations
- The pricing page shows no free plan; it offers a free trial ('Risk free. Cancel anytime.') but does not state the trial length.
- Pricing is per seat and AI use is metered in credits (7,500 per seat a month on Pro AI, 15,000 on Business AI). Credit add-ons are listed at 25 cents per 100 credits (7,500 option) and 19 cents per 100 credits (15,000 option), and the page does not say which plan each applies to.
- Motion's terms say subscriptions renew automatically, billing starts when the trial ends, and purchases are non-refundable at Motion's sole discretion; its help page says canceling does not automatically trigger a refund.
- Motion's security page says data is not stored in the European Union and EU data residency cannot be requested.
- Motion's pages differ on AI training: the security page says Motion does not and never will train AI models on your data, while the privacy policy lists 'training and developing machine learning algorithms' among its uses of collected information and does not mention customer content explicitly.
R

Reclaim.ai
AI calendar tool for Google and Outlook that schedules tasks, habits and meetings. Lite is free; Starter is $10 per seat a month billed annually ($12 monthly).
Who it is for
Reclaim's pricing page offers plans for one person (Lite), teams of up to 10 (Starter), up to 100 (Business) and over 100 users (Enterprise). It suits individuals and teams who want their calendar planned automatically; the help center says Starter and Business have no minimum seat count.
Strengths
- Reclaim's pricing page lists Lite as free forever with Focus Time, Habits, Buffer Time, Smart Meetings, Google and Outlook Calendar support and a Planner.
- The help center says Reclaim 2.0 includes Reclaim Chat for schedule questions and changes, with proposed changes shown in Preview Mode before they are applied.
- Reclaim's help center lists integrations with Slack, Zoom, Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Linear, Google Tasks and Todoist, plus MCP support for clients such as ChatGPT and Claude.
- The pricing page lists unlimited connected calendars on Starter and above, and unlimited Smart Meetings, Scheduling Links and calendar syncs on Business and above.
- Reclaim's privacy policy says it will not use personal data, including calendar data, to train large language or generative AI models unless you give explicit consent or opt in.
- The privacy policy says calendar data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and users can delete their account and associated data with a self-service option.
Limitations
- Todoist, Asana, ClickUp, Jira and Linear integrations start on Starter; Team OOO Calendar, Delegated Access and unlimited webhooks start on Business; SSO and SCIM start on Enterprise, per the pricing page.
- Starter is capped at 3 calendar syncs, 3 Scheduling Links, 10 AI agents per seat, 10 organizer meetings and an 8-week range; Business is capped at 100 agents per seat and 100 organizer meetings, per the pricing page.
- Smart Meetings with 3 or more people need Attendee User add-ons (for example, yearly Starter packs of 3 for $8 a month), per the pricing page.
- Reclaim's own pages disagree: the pricing page says annual billing saves 20% while the 1.0 help center says 29%, and the help center lists 3 smart meetings and no Lite Smart Meetings versus 10 and 5 on the pricing page. The help center article describes Reclaim 1.0; accounts created after May 2026 are on 2.0.
