What is InVideo AI?
InVideo AI is a web-based video tool from invideo in which AI agents and models generate images, video, voice and music from prompts, with a timeline editor for manual edits. Work is metered in monthly credits.
Who it's for
Individuals and teams who want to produce video from text prompts and then edit it on a timeline. Paid plans add seats for small and mid-sized teams, up to 5, 10 or 20 depending on the tier.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- invideo's help center says manual timeline editing, exporting and downloading use no credits
- Monthly or annual billing is available, and annual billing is listed at 50% off the monthly price
- Extra credits can be bought without changing plan, and purchased top-up credits last up to 12 months or until the paid subscription ends
- Its Terms say invideo will not use your user data to train or fine-tune its AI models
- The Terms grant you a license to commercialize the outputs you generate, and exported outputs stay usable after cancellation
Limitations
- Free plan credits are limited and reset weekly on Monday at 00:00 UTC. The help article gives no credit amount
- Free plan downloads include a watermark, which any paid plan removes
- Unused plan credits do not roll over, and invideo says credit costs can change without notice
- Credit cost depends on model, resolution, duration and features, and video models are priced per second, so output per plan varies
- Pricing is per seat. Starter is capped at 5 seats with no guest seats, and premium stock footage is capped per plan (100 on Starter, 200 on Plus, 500 on Max)
- Fees are non-refundable, except a refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase or renewal if no credits or premium features were used
