What is Maket.ai?
Maket is an AI workspace for residential floor plans: you can describe a home in chat, draw a plan, upload a PDF, photo or scan, or start from a template, then edit it and view it in 2D and 3D. It also produces AI renders and runs in a web browser, with no install and no mobile support.
Who it's for
The vendor's FAQ lists homeowners, builders and contractors, real estate developers and architects, and says Maket is built exclusively for residential projects. Commercial, industrial and institutional buildings are out of scope, and its layouts follow North American residential conventions.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- Maket says it generates 1 to 4 story residential plans and produces multiple variations to compare; multi-floor generation is on paid plans.
- Layouts can be changed in plain words or by hand, and the features page lists your own furniture and your own floor, tile and paint materials for renders.
- Plans can be uploaded as PDF, JPG or PNG on paid plans and exported as PDF and DXF; the FAQ says DXF opens in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and most other CAD software.
- The Free plan lists 30 one-time credits covering single-floor generation, the editor, rendering and link sharing, with no credit card required.
- Top-up credits for paid subscribers never expire and stay on the account after cancellation, per the pricing page.
- The pricing page says plans can be changed or canceled at any time; upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge, and an annual plan stays active until its term ends.
Limitations
- Credits are metered: 20 per floor generated or uploaded, 10 per render and 5 per optimization. Homeowner's 300 monthly credits cover up to 15 floors, and Free's 30 one-time credits cover one floor plus one render.
- Free has no downloadable exports, and plan upload, AI editing and multi-floor generation need a paid plan. Homeowner includes only one AI-assisted upload, which the pricing page says is not guaranteed 100% accurate.
- The terms say outputs are conceptual, and that Maket does not check measurements, building codes, zoning, structure or permits; a licensed professional must review a design before construction or permitting.
- The terms let Maket use your content and AI outputs to operate the service and to train, fine-tune, test and validate its AI systems. They describe no general opt-out, and say only that plans with an opt-out from certain training uses follow their own plan terms.
- Payments and credits are generally non-refundable. The pricing page does not state refund terms, commercial-use rights or seat limits, and the terms and FAQ disagree on the billing-error reporting window (30 days in the terms, 7 days in the FAQ).

- Scale: Custom. Custom credit allowance and project volume, custom generation model and materials, bulk portfolio import and API access; contact sales.
Prices were read from the official pricing page, which lists monthly prices in dollars. It says annual billing gets a 17% discount with a 12-month commitment, paid upfront or in monthly installments, but does not list the annual amounts; top-up pack prices are also not listed.
