Meshy is a web app and API that generates 3D models from text prompts or images. It also covers AI texturing, remeshing, rigging and animation.
Who it's for
The vendor lists plans for individual creators, high-volume creators, studios and teams, and large organisations. It offers plugins and bridges for Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot, Maya, 3ds Max and Roblox.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- A free plan with 100 credits a month and no card needed
- Exports GLB, FBX, OBJ, STL, USDZ and 3MF according to the export guide; the pricing page also lists .blend
- Pro and above include API access, plugins and the DCC bridge for Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot, Maya, 3ds Max and Roblox
- Paid plans produce private assets that the customer owns
- Failed generations are not charged, and cancelled tasks are refunded in credits
Limitations
- Free has 100 credits a month, 1 concurrent task, low queue priority and no free retries
- Free outputs are licensed CC BY 4.0, so commercial use needs attribution
- Multi-view Image to 3D, Text to Image, Remesh, AI texture editing and API access are listed as Pro and above
- Pricing is credit based. Monthly credits reset each month, while purchased credits do not expire
- Refunds are generally not offered, with exceptions through support

- Free: $0. 100 credits a month, 1 concurrent task, low queue priority, CC BY 4.0 outputs, 10 Meshy 6 Lite downloads a month.
- Pro: $20 a month. 1,000 credits a month, 10 concurrent tasks, high queue priority, private assets, API access.
- Premium: $40 a month. 3,000 credits a month, 30 concurrent tasks.
- Studio: $70 a month. 5,500 shared team credits, 60 concurrent tasks, team management.
- Ultra: $100 a month. 8,000 credits a month, 100 concurrent tasks, 40 free retries per task.
- Enterprise: Custom. Custom credits, multiple workspaces, SAML SSO, dedicated support.
The pricing page shows the same figure for monthly and yearly billing, although its FAQ mentions 20% off annual plans for new users, so check at checkout. Credit costs listed in the docs: 20 credits for Text to 3D on Meshy 6 and 10 for texturing. We could not read two of Meshy's help articles on the free plan and commercial use.
