What is Metaview?
Metaview is an AI recruiting platform with separate agents for interview notes, candidate sourcing, application review, screening and reports. The sourcing agent builds a candidate shortlist from a role brief and handles outreach, and the notes agent records and summarizes recruiting calls; it runs on the web, with calendar, ATS and phone-call connections.
Who it's for
Metaview's site names recruiters, hiring managers, executive search partners, recruiting agencies and startups to large companies as its audience. Its help center says it records and organizes conversations but does not evaluate candidates or make hiring decisions.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- Metaview's pricing page lists a Free Sourcing plan with the first 100 profiles sourced at no charge and unlimited concurrent searches.
- Metaview's help center lists Notes features such as custom templates, a short summary (TLDR), roughly 30-second snippets, call history and sharing of transcripts, recordings and notes with viewers who do not need a paid subscription.
- Metaview's help center says it joins ATS-scheduled interviews automatically when the ATS is integrated and the admin has enabled the user's seat; other calls can be recorded by inviting the notetaker address, and phone calls are supported after registering a number.
- A Metaview blog post says 47 ATSs are natively integrated and names Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Bullhorn and JazzHR; it says notes and scorecard fields are written back to the ATS.
- Metaview's security page and pricing page list SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and PIPEDA, 256-bit AES and TLS encryption, and storage in an AWS UK environment.
- Metaview's help center says it does not use customer data to train AI models and relies on pre-trained models from LLM partners; customers choose the retention period.
Limitations
- Sourcing is priced per user: Pro ($100) is capped at 200 sourced profiles a month, and unlimited profiles require Max ($300).
- The pricing page does not say whether the free 100 sourced profiles are one-time or reset, and it does not mention annual billing.
- The Application Review, Notetaker and All agents tabs on the pricing page showed no prices when read; the full platform is custom-priced through sales.
- Vendor pages disagree on integrations: one blog says 47 ATSs are natively integrated and another earlier source cited 114; the pricing page does not list integration counts. Confirm which ATS you use directly.
- The security page says the default data retention is 2 years, while the help center says customers set the retention period by contacting privacy@metaview.ai; the pricing FAQ left several questions unanswered.
