What is Replit Agent?
Replit Agent is an AI assistant inside Replit that turns plain-language descriptions into apps, designs, slides and other outputs. It writes code, sets up infrastructure, tests its own work and can publish the project.
Who it's for
People who want to build and publish web or mobile apps, dashboards, prototypes or slides from a description, including non-programmers. The Pro plan is aimed at larger groups of builders (up to 15) and parallel Agent tasks.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- Plan mode lets you review and approve an ordered task list before Agent changes any code or data
- Checkpoints let you roll a project back to earlier states
- Agent tests its own work, and one project can hold web, mobile, slides, video and data-visualization outputs that share the same backend and data
- Free Mode covers everyday Agent work on Core and Pro within an allowance that resets every five hours, with weekly limits
- Per-checkpoint costs show in the Agent tab, and Billing settings offer usage alerts and hard budget caps
Limitations
- Paid Agent work uses effort-based pricing: each completed request becomes a checkpoint, simple fixes typically cost less than complex builds, and Plan mode can incur billable reasoning even when no code changes
- Credits also pay for deployments, storage, databases and other cloud services, and calls to third-party model APIs are billed at the provider's public rate and deducted from credits
- Starter (free) has limited monthly cloud credits, a daily Agent allowance and one published app that expires after 30 days but can be republished. Exact Starter amounts are not published in the docs we read
- Core credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over, and Core allows 1 parallel Agent task and up to 5 collaborators. Pro credits roll over for two months
- Deployments cost extra once credits run out. Autoscale is $2 a month plus usage, a Reserved VM is $15 to $130 a month by size, and static hosting is free apart from $0.05 per GiB of outbound transfer
- Turbo mode is available only in Power mode and costs more
Plans and pricing
- Starter: $0. Limited monthly cloud credits, a daily Agent allowance, one published app that expires after 30 days and can be republished. Exact amounts are not published.
- Core: $18 a month billed annually, or $20 a month billed monthly. $20 in monthly credits that do not roll over, Plan mode, up to 5 collaborators, 1 parallel Agent task, unlimited published apps, 7-day database restore.
- Pro: $90 a month billed annually, or $100 a month billed monthly. Tiered monthly credits that roll over for two months, up to 10 parallel Agent tasks, up to 15 builders, 28-day database restore, premium support, more Free Mode usage.
- Enterprise: Custom, contact sales. SSO, SCIM, audit logs, privacy controls, single-tenant and private networking options, dedicated support.
- Credit packs (add-on): Packs worth $100, $300, $500 and $1,000. Listed in the help docs at $100, $290, $480 and $950. Not shown on the pricing page we fetched.
Prices are from Replit's pricing page and docs. They disagree on Core's annual total (the docs say $204 a year, the pricing page implies $216), the Starter allowance and the Pro credit tiers are not published as numbers, and the credit pack prices appear only in the help docs. A third-party news report says the Teams plan is being phased out, with customers moving to Pro; we could not confirm that on a Replit page, so treat it as reported. Confirm on the live pricing page.
Details checked October 2026 against the vendor's own pages. Prices and limits change, so confirm before you buy. Official pricing page ↗
