What is Vizcom?
Vizcom is a web-based AI design tool that turns line sketches into shaded, textured renders, with credit-based image, animation and 3D model generation. Vizcom's pages describe a Design Mode for sketching, prompting and rendering and a Workbench Mode for organizing and comparing work, accessed through a web app.
Who it's for
Vizcom's site names industrial design, footwear, gaming, automotive and apparel, and runs separate programs for students and educators. Team plans have admin-managed billing, and Vizcom lists an Enterprise tier with SSO and audit logs for larger organizations.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- Vizcom lists a free Starter plan with 800 credits a month, and says no credit card is required.
- Vizcom lists Live Render, which updates the render as you draw, prompt or edit, under Professional.
- Vizcom's credit docs list per-action costs such as roughly 10 credits for Render/Refine, 40 for Make 3D and 2 for Remove Background, and say the app shows the cost before you confirm an action.
- Viewers are free on team plans; only Admins and Editors are paid seats, billed on one invoice, and unused add-on credits roll over month to month.
- Vizcom's data security page says it is ISO 27001, 27017 and SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant, with SSO via Google, Microsoft or Okta.
- Vizcom says users own what they create, and that content on paid plans is not used to train AI models.
Limitations
- Starter is capped at 800 credits a month (about 200 images, 14 animations or 20 3D models by Vizcom's estimate) and 10 files, with standard render speed and community support. Vizcom's credit docs say add-on credits require an upgrade to Pro.
- Priority render queue, multi-image generation, 4K exports, Live Render and full design privacy are listed under Professional, not Starter.
- Base credits reset each billing cycle and unused base credits do not carry over; when credits run out, credit-powered features pause until add-ons are bought or the cycle resets. Add-on bundle prices are not listed.
- Vizcom says free-plan users' generated images may be used to improve its services. Its data security page ties the no-training commitment to 'Enterprise and Premium' accounts, a name that does not match the plan names on the pricing page.
- The pricing page shows $49 per user a month without saying whether that is the monthly or annual rate, and shows an 'Annual (save 30%)' option without an annual price. A third-party tracker reported $40 for Professional in July 2026 (Reported).
