What is Supernormal?
Supernormal is an AI workspace that started as a meeting notetaker and now turns meeting notes into slides, documents, spreadsheets, images and email drafts. It captures meetings through a desktop app instead of a bot on the call, which its download page lists for Apple Silicon Macs (macOS 14.4.1 or later) and Windows 11 or later.
Who it's for
Its homepage is aimed at agencies that turn client meetings into deliverables, and its pricing is meant for individuals and teams that want notes plus follow-up documents. The Business tier adds SSO, audit logs and admin controls for organizations.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- Supernormal lists a Free plan at $0 with no credit card, including the bot-free desktop notetaker, unlimited projects and an MCP connection to other tools.
- Team and Business list unlimited seats with credits shared across the account, so adding members does not add a per-seat fee.
- Supernormal's help center says unused credits roll over to the next month on monthly plans and for up to two years on annual plans.
- Owners and admins can see organization credit usage per day or for the current month on a Usage page (credit-based plans only).
- Supernormal's security page lists SOC 2 (report under NDA), HIPAA support with a Business Associate Agreement, a GDPR Data Processing Agreement, TLS 1.2+ in transit and AES-256 at rest.
- Supernormal says that on paid plans customer data is excluded from training AI models, and its Gmail integration page says that integration is free on all plans.
Limitations
- The Free plan is capped at 15 credits a month with at most 5 credits used per day; Team and Business remove the daily limit but include only 50 credits a month each.
- Credit use depends on task type and complexity, and the help center gives no per-task cost, no statement of what happens when credits run out, and no credit-per-meeting figure. Extra credits can be added from the Billing page.
- SSO, audit logs, data retention and member visibility controls are listed only on Business ($40 a month versus $20 for Team, both for 50 credits).
- Supernormal's security page says the no-training commitment applies to paid plans and does not state the Free-plan treatment; its Terms (which still use the older Starter, Pro and Business tier names) allow de-identified data use for training on Starter and say payments are non-refundable in U.S. dollars by credit card.
- Supernormal's pricing page, its help center and its Terms do not fully agree: the live pricing page showed $0 for Team and Business, the help center shows $20 and $40, and the Terms and a legacy help page still describe the old seat-based tiers.
Plans and pricing
- Free: $0. 15 credits a month, up to 5 per day; desktop-app notetaker with no bot, unlimited projects, MCP connection, generation of presentations, images and spreadsheets.
- Team: $20 a month (monthly price; annual price not listed). 50 credits a month, no daily limit, unlimited seats sharing credits, Supernormal badge removable, credit rollover. Formerly called Pro.
- Business: $40 a month (monthly price; annual price not listed). 50 credits a month plus everything in Team, SSO, audit logs, data retention, member visibility and admin controls.
- Legacy seat-based plans (Starter, Pro, Business): $0 / $10 or $18 / $19 or $29. Reported on a legacy help page for existing customers; the page does not say which of the two Pro and Business figures is monthly or annual. Not offered to new customers on the credit-based pricing page.
Prices were read from Supernormal's help-center pricing articles ($20 and $40 monthly; credit top-ups also priced per 50 credits) because the live pricing page displayed $0 for Team and Business, labeled Annual, which looks like a display error. No annual price could be read, and all amounts are in U.S. dollars. Confirm on the live pricing page.
